About
The Pirate Indie Games Show is a way to showcase indie devs without putting them through the financial hardship so common in this space. It's a month long celebration of indie games twice a year that is completely free for the developers. Each game is played for one hour and then we have the developers on for an interview afterwards. These gameplay and interview sessions are broadcast live on multiple streaming platforms and then edited into YouTube videos afterwards. This gives a huge amount of visibility for games that otherwise might not get it.
Above you can find a Sign Up link that will take you to the submission form. The show runs in June and December of each year and only 50-60 games will be selected for each month. We prioritize games without a publisher or games with small development teams that could really use a boost. If you don't get in for the current round don't worry! There is always next time and it costs you nothing to try.
2025
This was our first year for the show and very seat of your pants style chaos. We dubbed it Indiecember and wanted to just do a yearly event. It exploded and hundreds of developers applied for a spot. We took on 85 of them and managed to get them all shown in December 2025. The results were incredible to see. The community had a blast and each game saw wishlist increases of between 100 on the low end and 15,000 on the highest end. Since then we've turned the event into PIGS mostly so we can have a cute piglet character and confuse people less as it's all under one name. Below you can see the Steam Curator list for the games shown and the YouTube Playlist as well.
